My Husbands Edinburgh Roots

My husband traced his lineage back to Edinburgh, Scotland. With the rich history of the country and the city, we had to make the expedition to see where his heredity began. Booking the trip was a snap, but choosing just one of the beautiful Edinburgh hotels was difficult, because I wanted to stay at all of them.

Upon arriving in Edinburgh my breath was taken away at the gorgeous surroundings. I felt as if I stepped back in time or into a vivid Hollywood movie. Although, the old world charm was around every corner, there were plenty of modern conveniences juxtaposed in perfect harmony.

My husband and I cannot wait to book a return trip. He was able to retrace his family roots and I was able to take in the atmosphere and of course do some shopping. We’re planning to come back for our anniversary and I cannot wait.
