With the rich history of the country and the city, we had to make the expedition to see where his heredity began. Booking the trip was a snap, but choosing just one of the beautiful Edinburgh hotels was difficult, because I wanted to stay at all of them.

Upon arriving in Edinburgh my breath was taken away at the gorgeous surroundings. I felt as if I stepped back in time or into a vivid Hollywood movie. Although, the old world charm was around every corner, there were plenty of modern conveniences juxtaposed in perfect harmony.

My husband and I cannot wait to book a return trip. He was able to retrace his family roots and I was able to take in the atmosphere and of course do some shopping. We’re planning to come back for our anniversary and I cannot wait.
